2019-08 - Hospital Dietary System Replacement - Yukon Hospital Corporation

This RFP is for a new or upgraded dietary management system. Since we are upgrading our current HIS from Meditech Magic to Meditech Expanse, we have the opportunity to replace or upgrade our current Picis MedDietary system. Proposals should include separate pricing options for deployment to YHC and HSS facilities as well as benefits for such a deployment.

YHC (Yukon Hospital Corporation) and HSS (Yukon Governement Health and Social Services) has already contracted for the relevant MEDITECH Expanse Modules and professional services. The professional services contract for design, build, support and implementation is with Healthtech Consultants.

With this interface, the customer will able to integrate the diet application with the MEDITECH Order Management application so that all patient/client orders could be placed within MEDITECH with easy access to the patient’s/client’s electronic health record.

The proponent will work with the client, MEDITECH and HEALTHTECH to implement and integrate the new dietary management system with MEDITECH Expanse.

• Provide a new or upgraded Med Dietary Software Solution, licensing, support and professional services required for implementation
• Migrate/Upgrade existing functionality as deemed necessary, from existing Picis MedDietary module from current system to new or upgraded dietary management system with integration and interfacing to MEDITECH Expanse. Create NEW menus, diet types, and other functions/dictionaries under the direction of the Client’s Dietary Software Team leader
• Add or make changes to auxiliary systems as necessary to support the MEDITECH Expanse migration/implementation.
• Implement new processes and functionality to HSS facilities and Ambulatory care agencies (if the CLIENT choses this optional capability)
