RFP 2021-003 - Construction Management Services for WGH Secure Medical Unit Fit-Out Project

Infrastructure BC, on behalf of YHC, is pleased to invite Proposals from qualified and experienced entities who can provide Construction Management Services in connection with the development of the Project. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is to select an entity to enter into negotiations to establish an Agreement to provide Construction Management Services to YHC for the fit out of the Whitehorse General Hospital Secure Medical Unit shelled space.

In agreeing to take on the role of Construction Manager for the Project, the Construction Manager, its firm and potential affiliates may not be eligible to provide services, directly or indirectly, to any potential bidder in relation to the Project. Refer to Section 6.8 of this RFP.

At this time, all discussions related to the Project and this Assignment are highly confidential. Please refer to Section 6.1 of this RFP.

The Project involves the construction of an approximate 1,500sqm, 12-bed secure medical unit (“SMU”) within the existing Level 2 shelled space of the WGH and including new construction of an addition onto the existing Level 1 roof to accommodate the outdoor program space for the SMU. The estimated capital value for the Project is $15 million.
