Description

Developmental Services Ontario Central East Region (DSO CER) is the access point for Ministry-funded adult developmental services in our catchment area (York, Simcoe, Durham, and Haliburton-Kawarthas-Pine Ridge, including Peterborough, Lindsay, Cobourg, and Haliburton.) We assist adults with developmental disabilities and their caregivers to connect with services and supports in their community.

The purpose of this procurement project is to review Service Navigation functions within DSO CER, including intake, key lead activities, urgent response processes and telephone support, with the goal of improving overall customer experience, streamlining operations, and incorporating innovative technology applications, while also evaluating the potential of peer or caregiver peer support roles to further assist applicants and their caregivers.

The project spans a timeframe from December 30, 2024 to March 31, 2025, or earlier pending completion of the project work.
