INVITATION TO TENDER
CANADIAN ROCKIES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
AIRSIDE LIGHTING AND SECURITY UPGRADES
CONTRACT NO. 171-07496-00
Financial Assistance has been provided to the Cranbrook Airport through the Government of Canada's Airports Capital Assistance Program (ACAP) for the Airside Lighting and Security Upgrades Project.
You are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake in the above captioned Project at the Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook, BC. Your tender, on supplied forms, will be received through MERX, Canadian Public Tenders Online webpage until 4:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 11, 2017.
The work to be executed under this contract comprises the following major contract items (List is indicative of major contract items only and any quantities are approximate):
- Replacement of the existing airside access gate and gate operator
- Removal of two (2) existing floodlights and installation of three (3) new floodlights c/w poles and footings
A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount minimum of 10% of the tender price and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract.
There will be NO PRE-BID MEETING scheduled for this project. Should the Tenderer wish to visit the site independently they may contact Mr. Jamie Roche (250-426-7913) at the Canadian Rockies International Airport to set up an appointment.
Tender Closing Date: Thursday, July 11, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. (local time) through MERX. The Owner need not accept the lowest, the highest ranked, or any bid.
Plans, specifications and tender forms may be obtained through MERX. Documents will be available beginning June 26, 2017.
