Description

This Request for Invitation is for the purpose of a Joint Technical Review, which is to conduct a detailed review of the performance of Alternatively Funded Project (AFP) site buildings, to support the AFP requirement for a Joint Technical Review every five (5) contract years. The specific objectives of this review are:

To assess the condition of the Facility and each element for which Project Co. is responsible under the Project Agreement.
To assess the performance, effectiveness and response of the Scheduled Maintenance, Unscheduled Maintenance, Small Works and Variations completed over the previous five-year period.
To review the worked planned and scheduled for the upcoming five-year period in accordance with the Lifecycle Replacement Schedule and confirm that it meets the needs of the facility.
To identify issues that would require a corrective action or remedial plan from Project Co. To meet these objectives in a cost-effective manner it is recommended that the project be assessed through the examination of available documentation/records combined with a limited site inspection.

Proponent’s Team

The successful Proponent should have experience providing Facility Condition Assessments in Hospitals or similar critical care facilities and have knowledge in the following disciplines:

Architecture

FM Services, preferably in an AFP environment

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Structural Engineering

Elevator Specialist(s)

ITC and Security Systems

Cost Assessment/Estimating
