The project generally includes, but is not strictly limited to replacement of deck materials at Miles 1.26 on the Brockville Subdivision 3.00, 9.26 & 21.21 Smiths Falls Subdivision and 21.02 on the Alexandria Subdivision in Eastern Ontario.
In order to submit a tender, the Tenderer must comply with the following mandatory criteria:
1)Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:
a)Commercial General Liability Insurance of for a minimum amount of $25 000 000 combined limit per occurrence with a global policy aggregate of at least $50 000 000
b)Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of $5,000,000
c)Contractor’s Pollution Liability of $10 000 000
d)All Risks insurance policy
2)The Tenderer must be present as the site visit on September 26, 2017 at 7:00 AM Eastern Time at Alexandria Station 45 Mcdougald East Street , Alexandria, Ontario
3)Provide proof to be able to provide
a)Letter of Credit 50% of the contract amount
Or
b)Bond Requirement as percentage of Contract Prices: Bid Bond 10%,Performance Bond – 50%,Labour & Material Payment Bond – 50%
4)All the material must be delivered no later than March 31, 2018 and the work including demobilization must be completed prior to December 1, 2018.
5)Tenderer must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in bridge deck repairs.
6)Project manager must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management.
The site supervisor must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in bridge deck repairs.
7)Provide written confirmation from the WSIB having jurisdiction over the location of the work certifying that the Tenderer is in good standing.
8)Tenderer must have access (rented or owned) to hi-rail mounted vehicles or cranes.
