1728.0240.03 - Sewage Transfer Station Expansion – Phase 0

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications is to obtain qualification Submissions from general contractors interested in submitting future tenders for the work necessary to construct and commission the work described in Section 3 of this Request for Qualifications.

The work for the Sewage Transfer Station Expansion, in general terms, will consist of the following (noted as Phase 0 works in Appendix B):
- Construction of the wet well for peak flow attenuation at the Sewage Transfer Station
o  Cast in place concrete wet-well ~ 2,300 m 3  
o  Buried concrete control structure
o  Buried piping
-  Gravity connection to the wet well
-  Force main connection from the new wet well to the control structure
-  Chemical piping
-  Relocation of gas main
o  Supply and installation of submersible transfer pumps
o  Landscaping
o  Commissioning of complete operational system
o  Optional work: construction of a chemical building with tanks and transfer pumps
The existing sewage transfer station and access to this station must be maintained at all times during construction.
