Description

Tahltan Band Council (TBC) is seeking a qualified Contractor to design and construct nine (9) single-family housing unit in their Telegraph Creek Guh The Tah IR 12, Telegraph Creek Indian Reserve No. 6, Telegraph Creek Indian Reserve No. 6A, communities.
The housing unit will house the families displaced from the 2018 forest fires. All of the homes are to be designed for adaptive living, allowing the occupants to age in-place.
Two of the homes shall be wheelchair accessible. The contractor shall provide code compliance certification and sealed structural documents.
All construction and fire resistance rankings are to be in accordance with the latest version of the BC Building Code or the National Building whichever is most stringent.
The homes must have non-combustible exterior finishes.
