0844.0020.01 - Four Single Family Dwellings Lot 12, 24, 25, 26

Cook’s Ferry, Antko 21 community is located near Merritt BC. The Antko I.R. 21 reserve is located approximately five (5) km southeast of the City of Merritt and lies immediately south of, and adjacent to, Joeyaska IR2. The community is situated between the Coquihalla Highway (Hwy 5) and Coldwater Road.  The closest amenities for lodging and restaurants are in Merritt. 

Cook’s Ferry Indian Band wants to construct four (4) single family homes.  There are two different two-story house plans;  the DEER house plan has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, the EAGLE house plan has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.  A set of specifications accompanies the house plans. 

The successful contractor would enter into a CCDC 2 contract with Cook’s Ferry Indian Band.  There will be a third party BOABC certified building inspector. 

• All of the houses will have strip footings and crawlspaces. 
• Each housing unit footprint is proposed to be slightly less than 1,000 square feet plus a carport;
• The project is proposed to be constructed starting in the Spring of 2019.
• The project must be completed by March 1, 2020.
• The selected Contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Labour and Material Payment Bond as per CCDC 2.
