Description

The District of Houston (the Owner) requests the Submission of statements of qualifications from general contractors (the Respondent) interested in providing services for the following work. The general works include, but are not limited to:

- Installation of approximately 275 m of 200 mm PVC watermain on the City’s main downtown street including:
  - Extension of watermain through the intersections and
  - Tie in of existing businesses to new water services
  - Replacement of fire hydrants
- Installation of stormwater system including catch basins, storm main and manholes as required to tie into the existing system
- Isolated sanitary sewer repairs including the replacement of main and wye connections at services as needed
- Partial removal, disposal and replacement of existing street lighting with ornamental street lighting
- Removal, disposal and replacement of roadway, sidewalks and landscape features through 2 City blocks including intersections
- Sidewalk installation along Highway 16
