Phase 1 entails the removal of existing site features to
update the pedestrian realm with new curb bulbs and
landscaping. This work includes but is not limited to:
• 7th Avenue between 9th Street and 10th Stree
intersection upgrades
• Removal of existing curb and gutter and roadway
asphalt
• Removal of existing concrete sidewalks, wheelchair
ramps, driveway crossings and pavers
• Clearing and grubbing of existing plant beds
• Installation of curb and gutter and repair of roadway
asphalt
• Installation of storm system road drains
• Installation of concrete pavers
• Installation of concrete sidewalk, wheelchair ramps and
driveway crossings
• Removing, adding, and relaying out existing pavement
markings
• Installing growing medium and plant materials
• Installation of tree grates
• Removal, Storage and Re-installation of feature
boulders
• Installation of irrigation
• Installation of electrical line and connection to new
owner supplied pedestrian light standard
