Description

In issuing this RFSQ document, the University is seeking to shortlist up to three Design-Build (DB) teams for services related to the design and construction of a new student residence building at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus. This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage process. Shortlisted DB team Proponents will be invited to submit a response to a subsequent invited RFP process.

General Contractors who are not already pre-qualified with the University of Toronto must have submitted a Request for Pre-qualification in advance of submitting a response to this RFSQ. Pre-qualification documents can be obtained by requesting them from the contact identified in Part A.8 of this RFSQ.

For the purposes of this RFSQ submission, the University only expects to see the Design-Builder and their proposed architectural team profiled. The balance of the DB team will be profiled by the shortlisted Proponents invited to respond to the subsequent RFP. Proponent teams may, if they wish, profile additional team members but any scoring of their inclusion will be reserved for the second stage of this process.
