Description

The University of Toronto is seeking to shortlist up to three Design-Build (DB) teams for services related to the design and construction of the Scarborough Academy of Medicine and Integrated Health (SAMIH) at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage selection process; shortlisted Proponents will be invited to submit a response to a subsequent RFP.

SAMIH will be a collaboration between UTSC, the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, and the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. It will serve as a hub for undergraduate health education and health professional training. The proposed facility will be approximately 10,800 sqm and 5 storeys in height.

Upload submissions (in .pdf format) to MERX by the submisison deadline as measured by the time clock maintained by MERX. Proposals submitted by any other means or received after the Submission Deadline will not be considered.

In order for a submitted proposal to be considered for the shortlist, General Contractors must be prequalified with the University of Toronto. General Contractors who are not already pre-qualified with the University of Toronto must submit a Request for Pre-qualification by June 9, 2022 at 5pm EST.
