Description

The University of Toronto is seeking proposals from qualified Architects to undertake a two phase project comprising a 1) comprehensive feasibility study and costing and 2) design and implementation for the conversion of three residential properties in the Huron Sussex neighbourhood. Located on Spadina Avenue, Ancillary Services wishes to investigate the conversion of these Victorian semi-detached houses into triplex or fourplex dwelling units. The scope of the feasibility will determine the number of units, size of suites, bedroom counts, appropriate circulation and overall square footage, and necessary municipal approvals to develop a schedule and cost estimate for completing this work.
If, at the completion of the Phase 1 study, the project is deemed feasible, the consultant team may be invited to implement these improvements in full or in part (Phase 2).
