This negotiated Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Website Redesign and Development Services
While the University brand is an important distinction for those that choose us as their continuing education provider, we want to build a website that reflects SCS for what it is: a social enterprise that offers a deep variety of courses that meet the needs of a very diverse set of learners.
The mandate of SCS is to meet the needs of diverse adult learners through not-for-credit courses that are delivered by instructors who are recognized experts in their fields. Our courses are offered in innovative formats with online, hybrid and in-class options. Our programming extends the reach and impact of the University into the broader community, promoting the ever-growing importance of lifelong learning, career growth, professional development, and personal enrichment.

The term of the agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to three (3) years at 1-year intervals. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around December 2017.
