UOT201715574 - Trimodal SPECT/PET/CT Small Animal Imaging System

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Trimodal SPECT/PET/CT Small Animal Imaging System. A pre-clinical trimodal SPECT/PET/CT system is required for imaging small animals that are administered gamma-emitting and positron-emitting radionuclides in order to study the distribution of a wide variety of radiolabeled substrates in vivo. The SPECT component should consist of high-sensitivity detectors. The PET component should also be very sensitive, although coincidence and non-coincidence systems will be considered. The CT component should be capable of producing image slices with excellent anatomical detail. A trimodal system will expand its utility and flexibility compared to common bimodal or unimodal systems. The system should also address the needs of different users by its relative ease of operation, minimal maintenance, reliability, access to long-term technical support, and good value for money. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of 3 years with an option to extend the Agreement with the same terms and conditions for an additional two (2) years. It is anticipated that the Agreement will be executed on or around August 2017. For more details, please refer to the RFP document.
