Description:
The fulfillment of the proposed objectives requires the development of capability for monitoring particulate matter using a single instrument or a suite of instruments (“System”) which allow for the characterization of particulate matter within various size fractions, including ultrafine particles. The System should be portable, hence allowing for easy transport and installation across various sites within an urban area. Monitoring at each location is planned to range between 2 and 6 hours, on a single battery charge.
