Description:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Transportation and Air Quality (TRAQ) research group on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the supply and delivery of a Portable Emissions Measurement System (PEMS). The primary aim of PEMS is to capture real-world emissions of on-road vehicles, as opposed to highly controlled laboratory experiments. The required PEMS would permit the measurement of gaseous and particulate emissions, measurement of the vehicle exhaust flow rate, real-time monitoring of atmospheric conditions, and location of the vehicle using Global Positioning System (GPS).
