Description:
The University is seeking a vendor or contractor to provide security services by qualified and trained personnel according to the requirements of this RFP.
 
The responsibilities of the Successful Proponent include but not limited to, adhering to the standing orders as developed and updated from time to time for the specific site, floor patrols, mail delivery, contractor assistance, resident and guest assistance, responding to emergencies (personal or building), handling fire alarm calls, assisting Campus Police and Toronto Police and Fire Services, key distribution/collection for contractors and residents, etc.
 
The Successful Proponent will:
a)            ensure employees are and remain licenced for work in the security field.
b)            manage all human resources functions of employees within all applicable regulations.
c)            work within the University guidelines and policies related to contracted services for Health, Well Being and Equity.
 
The Successful Proponent will provide security services at the following locations:
a)            Chestnut Residence and Conference Centre at 89 Chestnut Street, Toronto, Ontario M5G 1R1
b)            Charles Street Student Family Housing at 35 Charles Street West, Toronto ON  M4Y 1R6 and 30 Charles Street West, Toronto ON  M4Y 1R7
