Note that obtaining access to the procurement documents will require prospective suppliers to register and pay a registration fee. Pricing and Payment Terms are available on the MERX website.

DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP to provide Category I - GPU Compute Servers and Category II - CPU Compute Servers. The University is looking to award to one (1) or more Proponents.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 50% within the ‘Technical Requirements evaluation for each Category they are bidding on.

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):

The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, Chapter 19
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
Five (5) year contract with option to extend.

The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:
Category 1: GPU Servers
Experience and Qualifications-10 points
Technical Requirements-30 points
Delivery Requirements-10 points
Installation Requirements-15 points
Warranty Requirements-05 points
Pricing per Category-30 points
Total Points-100 points

Category 2: CPU Servers
Experience and Qualifications-10 points
Technical Requirements-30 points
Delivery Requirements-10 points
Installation Requirements-15 points
Warranty Requirements-05 points
Pricing per Category-30 points
Total Points-100 points
