Description:
The University’s goal is to install new carpet tiles in each of the 205 dormitory rooms, 17 common rooms/double dorm rooms, and all hallways on three floors of the Sir Daniel Wilson Residence. The University will be response for installing the carpet tiles.
The purchase will be completed in two phases.
a. Phase I delivery as soon as possible for 8,250 SF of Color A (Slate Grey) at earliest possible delivery date.
b. Phase II delivery of 36,850 SF of Color B (Coal Grey) delivery April 2018. The phase in is due to start of school year in September and inability for contractors to install carpet produce in dormitory rooms during the school year, hallways and common areas can be installed during active school year.
Pricing will be required to hold price offer for duration of the project August 2017 through to April 2018.
The University evaluation committee may, at its sole and absolute discretion, request samples of the Deliverable from up to the top five (5) scoring Proponents after Stage III Evaluation (refer to Section 3.5: Stage III – Evaluation of Pricing).
During the evaluation of the samples, the evaluation committee will be looking for greater clarity on the composition, characteristics and colour options of the carpet tiles.
The University reserves the right to select a different colour carpet tile of similar composition, characteristics and price.
The University reserves the right to revisit and adjust the points allocated to each Proponent in the evaluation detailed in Section C. Rated Criteria, taking in consideration the evaluation of the samples.

Duration of Agreement:
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed around September 2017.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more Proponents with whom it wishes to enter negotiations, by written notification.
