DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer.
The Aspuru-Guzik group is seeking to purchase a new instrument, which is analytical and preparative liquid chromatography (LC) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS). The system will be used for non-polar and polar small organic molecules purification, identity determination and quantification. The system will be coupled with a synthetic robot (Chemspeed ISYNTH with MBraun) that would directly inject samples into analytical and preparative LC-MS. In addition, the system will be integrated with in-house data processing/control software (Python-based), therefore full programmatic/API access to the system functions is required.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
