DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Hydraulic System and Control System

As part of the major research infrastructure project supported by the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s Innovation Fund 2020 and the Ontario Research Fund’s Large Infrastructure Fund 2020, the main upgrade work for the Structural Testing Facilities at the Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering (CivMin) is the design and construction of the world’s first Adjustable Multi-Dimensional (AMD) loading module system at the Structural Testing Facilities (STF) at the University of Toronto. The proposed Mega-Scale Multi-Dimensional Testing Facility will enable testing of large-scale specimens in numerous configurations under multi-directional loading conditions.

This project has multiple decisions that you can submit to. You may choose to submit to both categories or one
•             Category → Cat 1 Hydraulic system
•             Category → Cat 2 Control system

Category 1 - Hydraulic system will allow you to submit up to 1 alternate option. If you elect to submit an alternate option you will be asked to only submit the Requested Information that is designated as 'Unique per Alternate'.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Tuesday, September 19, 2023 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.
