DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Dilution Refrigerator
This Dilution Refrigerator will be the centerpiece of Sergio de la Barrera’s lab, providing a millikelvin environment and electrical wiring for measuring his samples. The Dilution Refrigerator will incorporate a superconducting solenoid magnet, electrical filtering to ensure equilibration between the sample holder temperature and the electron temperature of the sample, and a piezoelectric two-axis rotator for positioning the sample within the magnetic field.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
