UOT201715726 - Design and Supply of Electrocatalysis System

The University requires design and fabrication of an electrocatalysis system for the conversion of CO2 into CO for Round 2 of the NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE competition. In addition, a site for operation and data collection must be provided. The system will be a scaled up version of technology developed in the University’s labs and will incorporate catalysts designed by the University. The system will be used to demonstrate electrochemical CO2 conversion at a scale of at least 60 kg/day from an input flow of 200 kg/day of CO2. Given the strict timelines imposed by the XPRIZE competition, the University requires rapid design, fabrication, and testing.
