Description:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Lesley Warren – Department of Civil Engineering on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of the following equipment:

One (1) ion analyser;
One (1) trace element analyser;
One (1) gas chromatograph;
One (1) UV-Vis Spectrophotometer;
One (1) microwave digestion system;
One (1) microwave ashing system, and
One (1) floor standing centrifuge.

as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).

Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 9 of the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement between Canada and the European Union

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement[3]:
Delivery within six (6) weeks from contract execution at the latest, with a strong preference (partial or complete system) for earlier delivery.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
