This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation by Facilities Management and Planning, at the University of Toronto Mississauga (“UTM”) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective bidders to submit Tenders for the provision of the general construction and installation of two (2) 500 BHP steam boiler replacements and other upgrades at the Central Utilities Plant on the UTM campus at 3359 Mississauga Road, Mississauga.

Mandatory Site Visit – 11 May, 2017 @ 11:00 AM Meet Location: UTM Central Utilities Plant, 1630 Outer Circle Road on the University of Toronto Mississauga Campus, 3359 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga ONT.. The site visit is intended for bidders to carefully examine the site and note the conditions affecting the work prior to the Tender submission. Bidders are encouraged to invite sub-contractors. Alternative date will not be provided for the Site Visit. Claims by the Bidder will not be considered or allowed for conditions that could be determined by careful and diligent examination of the Bid Documents, the Place of the Work or both.

Bidders are required to wear safety shoes, bring a hard hat, safety glasses and ear plugs. Cameras are permitted only as directed by the Owner.
