DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Department of Facilities Management & Planning and the Department of Student Housing and Residence Life on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Disaster Restoration and Remediation Services, as further described in Schedule F Draft Agreement and Schedules to Draft Agreement, Schedule 1 Description of Goods and/or Services.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:
The RFP Process is open to all parties submitting a Proposal in accordance with the RFP Documents.

Company Background, Experience and References: 22 points (minimum passing score: 15 points
Proposed Personnel: 8 points
Approach and Understanding: 11 points (minimum passing score: 7 points)
Customer Service and Response Time: 29 points (minimum passing score: 19 points)
Pricing: 30 points
Total Points: 100 Points
APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS:
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9
CONTRACT DETAILS:
Agreement Term:
Three (3) year Initial Term, plus two (2) additional one (1) year options, to be exercised in the University’s sole discretion. The maximum potential Term of the Agreement is five (5) years.
