DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Name and Description of Goods and/or Services:
University of Toronto Scarborough, Facilities Management & Capital Projects, Grounds and Caretaking Division is seeking proposals from Proponents for the Removal and Disposal, Management and Tracking of Waste, in following streams for the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.

Organics/Compostable
Mixed Recycling, including Container Recycling (tin/plastic/glass) and Paper
Cardboard
Wood,
Metal
E-Waste
Shredded Paper
Yard Waste
Other Waste (Landfill)

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at
https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/87392
before January 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. (local time).
The submissions will not be opened publicly.

Your submission must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized prior to the Closing Time of January 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM EST. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before Closing Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission. The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Canada-European Union Comprehensive and Economic Trade Agreement
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
Three year contract with option to renew for additional two years (in one year increments)
EVALUATION CRITERIA
The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:

Technical Submission:
Required Documentation, 5 points
Waste Diversion Methodology, 20 points
Waste Tracking and Monitoring, 20 point
Operation Service and Logistics, 20 points
Experience and Qualifications, 5 points
Financial Submission:
Total Three (3) year cost, 25 points
Rebate, 5 points

Attendance at General Proponents Meeting is a Pass / Fail Criteria
