DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for High Pressure Processing System. This equipment will facilitate on-going collaborative research examining whether high pressure processing may be a suitable alternative to the current Holder Pasteurization technique in ensuring equivalent microbiological safety of donor human milk and preservation heat sensitive nutrients and bioactive components that promote optimal growth and neurodevelopment of infants whenever their own parent’s milk is unavailable. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

CONTRACT DETAILS
A term of one year. The Initial Term may be renewed, in the University’s sole discretion, for up to five additional one-year terms.
