Description

TVO has recently consolidated two television broadcast studios into one multi-media studio. An Internet Protocol infrastructure has been implemented, based on the SMPTE ST-2110 compliance standard.
The scope of this project is to replace key components of TVO's Davis Studio core infrastructure in order to provide a more reliable and robust production technology environment. The studio is currently a hybrid configuration.

As such, TVO is looking for a quote for a SMPTE ST-2110 compliant Multiviewer. The quote must include commissioning and testing at TVO premises.

Additionally, due to the urgent nature of TVO productions, please include as options, solutions in the event of failure. For example, cold standby unlicensed unit.

The Authority requires all bids to be received at the Purchasing Department up to and no later than 14:00:00 hours EDT (local time) Thursday 27, 2020 .The Authority’s Master Control clock is the official time for the closing of this RFP and shall be the deciding factor in any dispute arising from the RFP closing and resulting award.

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the timely delivery of submissions. Any and all late submissions will be, without prejudice, returned unopened. No consideration will be given for delays due to problems with couriers or postal deliveries.

The bids (three hard copies) and 1 electronic copy on flash drive must be submitted, in a sealed envelope and display the number “RFP #2020-0213-355” on the outside of the envelope.
