RFP2018-0410-321 - ATSC Transmitter to Broadcast TVO Over-the-Air in Toronto

TVO is Ontario's public educational media organization and a trusted source of interactive educational content that informs, inspires, and stimulates curiosity and thought, empowering people to be engaged citizens of Ontario through educational media.   We will hard cut from our existing transmitter at the CN Tower to a new ATSC digital transmitter by August 1, 2018.
 
TVO is seeking bids to
 
a) Supply and Install a 6KW ATSC Liquid cooled UHF CH19 transmitter
b) Provide factory and on site acceptance testing and reports
c) Provide Equipment specific training
d) Provide technical and operating manuals for equipment purchased
e) Supply and Install Mask filter if required. (Current unit may be suitable)
 
TVO presently has and is using a strict Mask filter, however if vendors chose to offer their own Mask options, it is requested they clearly identify this as an option in the bid.  TVO will determine which approach is most feasible and prudent given available resources.
