P31PV19907 - P31PV19907 - DESIGN SERVICES – ELEVATING DEVICES MODIFICATIONS

The Scope of this Contract is to provide Engineering services related to escalators and elevators as required by the Elevating Devices Section of the Commission including but not limited to: the design of new controller(s) for various elevating devices; design devices for RTMS systems; review in detail all modifications, which are considered alterations under the Technical Standards and Safety Act (TSSA); review all technical requirements and examine work site as necessary; identify and prepare design submissions required by the TSSA for alterations; prepare documents to support work as required by Canadian Standards Association (CSA),  Electrical Standards Association (ESA), Ontario Building Code (OBC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA); and facilitate training and provide on site support.
