Description

The contractor(s) will need to work closely with Trucking HR Canada on a range of current and future projects/tasks related to the fields of expertise listed below.

The successful applicant(s) will have the expertise and ability to provide any, all, or a combination of the services listed below, and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Managing projects with research experience in specific activities such as labour market information, mental health programs and diversity initiatives
Identifying and managing project risks and developing solutions
Ensuring scope, schedule and costs are reasonable and achievable
Conducting periodic and post-project reviews to ensure project is on track
Coordinating functional perspectives from within and outside project teams
Facilitating meetings; building positive relationships with stakeholders, vendors and management; and conducting follow-up studies on projects
Ensuring all project documentation is updated and conveyed to relevant stakeholders on time
Integrating self into client environment to effectively lead project team building positive professional relationships with stakeholders and associates
Defining objectives, requirements and assumptions necessary to structure management project
Planning, scheduling and controlling activities to fulfill identified objectives applying technical, theoretical and managerial skills to satisfy project requirements
Enforcing and developing integrated development plan representing appropriate level of detail
Developing task interdependency and project tactics with overall project strategy
Establishing and maintaining high performing team and serve as project advocate within organization
Consulting and leading efforts of individual, team, stakeholder and other resources associated with project activity
Ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables
Leading risk management within project management team
Ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plan
