The Town of Torbay (“the Town”) is inviting Tenders for supply and delivery of two (2) latest model mid size pick-up trucks. Bidders must provide a quote by courier or regular mail for products which meet or exceed the minimum specifications and requirements detailed in this invitation for Tender. Bids which contain products that contain one (1) or more items that do not meet or exceed the minimum requirements may be declared non-compliant and be rejected.
All Bidders shall furnish the Town with a Letter of Good Standing from Workplace NL should one be requested. The Town will use the standard Provincial contract documents for Agreement Between Owner and Contractor and all associated general conditions and supplementary general conditions for a stipulated price contract.
It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure the quoted equipment meets the specifications listed herein, and to inform the Town of any deficiencies in the required specifications. Under this contract, the Bidder shall be held responsible for the design, performance, reliability and satisfactory operational functioning of the unit provided.
The Bidder shall maintain parts and service facilities with qualified personnel and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) replacement parts for the equipment offered, including any options / attachments selected. Servicing/parts facility must provide complete OEM approved servicing for equipment offered.
The Bidder shall quote the product free on board (FOB) to their dealership, and include all taxes, fees, surcharges, delivery to their dealership, etc. No additional costs outside of what is included in the Schedule of Prices will be accepted by the Town. The quoted vehicle is expected to be picked-up by a Town staff person fully assembled, complete, and ready for use.
