24437 - State of the Industry Reports (Labour Market information)

Through this request for proposals (RFP) competition we are seeking to hire a consultant to produce two major research papers (approximately 20 to 25 pages in length) drawing on Tourism HR Canada’s collected research on tourism employment issues, as well as research from other sources. The state of the industry reports are part of the 3-year externally funded research project focused on developing and maintaining a foundational labour market intelligence system for Canada’s tourism sector. The papers will analyze trends, predict challenges faced by the sector and make recommendations on how to overcome those challenges. This research reports will focus on employment data and trends along with the results of sentiment or perception surveys, but will also examine the broader economic, social, and political factors that affect the sector and its workers.
