As part of an Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED)-funded initiative, Tourism HR Canada is working with its principle partner, Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), to deliver a responsive, comprehensive and sustainable LGBTQ2 Tourism Market Ready Program aimed at helping tourism businesses and communities develop a lucrative and fast-growing LGBTQ2 market. A series of Inclusion workshops, Market Ready seminars and Training of Trainer sessions are being delivered across Canada.
Tourism HR Canada (THRC) and Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) are seeking a copy and editing contractor to review and update the wording of learning materials in workshops, learning resources, presentations as well as the language on CGLCC’s website to ensure project consistency. Content updates of learning materials are currently being conducted by THRC and CGLCC and copy and editing work will need to occur in tandem with the content updates going forward. Exact timelines are unknown at this time but are expected to be intermittent from May 1, 2020 until March 31, 2021. The selected vendor must be prepared to meet reasonably tight timelines. Due to the nature of the content, a ‘language guideline’ will be given to the chosen contractor that includes guidance and recommendations from CGLCC inclusion experts.
