Professional Services for:
Website Designer & Development Team (contract)

Responses, are to be submitted in a sealed envelope (courtesy label included), which includes the prescribed form(s) as instructed to be delivered to Purchasing Services, Toronto Police Service (TPS), 40 College Street, 2nd Floor, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2J3, prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time (as per time clock located at Purchasing) on Friday, September 15th, 2017.

Responses are invited from Professional Services for:
A website designer and development team for a short term project.

Email submissions will be accepted.
This engagement is for a website design & development team to create a new external (tps.on.ca) and internal (intranet) website. This project will be divided into two parts – Design of the “look and feel” of the new websites (Part A) and Development of the new website, based on identified Design and other business requirements Part B.

The term of the contract is for a period of 26 weeks, commencing on or around October 10th, 2017, pending security background checks, with project completion on March 31, 2018.

Renewals
Contract renewals or extensions, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the TPS (and would presumably relate to implementation activities). If required, the TPS reserves the right to extend this contract on a month to month basis, or based on a selection of strategic activities that are determined to be best executed by the successful team.

Ownership
The TPS will own the websites built during the contract and be free to deploy them wholly or in part in the future. The site will be independent of the vendor after the contract period and not rely on services, infrastructure or support from the vendor.

Any and all deliverables prepared by the vendor, or any person employed, engaged or retained by the vendor for the performance of the services including any and all copyright therein, shall be and become the sole and absolute property of the TPS without the payment of any additional compensation.
