SUMBISSION REQUIREMENTS

Submissions shall only be accepted electronically via the MERX Portal. Submissions submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified.
If during the preparation of their Submission, the Bidder desires to make a change which requires correction, alteration or erasure to any information previously entered in a designated section of the Submission by the Bidder, documents that have been uploaded to the MERX Portal may be added, removed and/or re-submitted as often as required at any time, prior to Closing.

Information contained in the most recent Submission submitted via the MERX Portal and received prior to the Closing will take precedence over the information contained in previously received Submissions from the Bidder.
The Bidder may withdraw a Submission at any time prior to the Closing specified by logging into www.merx.com.

GOAL
The intent of this quotation request is to obtain a vendor to supply Setina moulded seats, as and when required, to the Toronto Police Service.

NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The awarding of a contract to a contractor shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.

TERM OF CONTRACT
The term of this Contract is for a one (1) year period commencing upon Award.

TPS reserves the right to renew for an additional four (4) one-year periods based on the same terms and conditions, including pricing. This renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and Board approval if applicable.

PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations within the City of Toronto and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this Bid to other government agencies, if the Bidder becomes the Contractor. The Contractor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Contractor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Contractor. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Contractors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
