Request for Quote
The Toronto Police Services is requesting bids to Supply and Deliver Various Tools and Testing Equipment for TPS.

The Toronto Police Telecommunications Unit currently uses a variety of tools and test equipment to service, maintain and repair the radio systems, radio and data network devices, electronic equipment installed in TPS Fleet vehicles and at fixed TPS buildings and assets. The range of test equipment vary from simple multi-meter to very complex custom designed radio test sets.

The life cycle upgrade of the test equipment is an ongoing process and is undertaken on a continuous basis as and when the assets reach the end of their life. The tools and test equipment currently in use at TSU will reach end of life by December 2022.

Submission Requirements
Proposals must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System (https://www.merx.com/).

Proponents are to submit their proposal through the MERX EBS System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday September 13, 2022.

Term of the Contract
The term of this contract is for two (2) year period with one (1) year options to extend.

Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPSB/TPS may, upon request, permit other public bodies and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any part of the contract which may result from this RFQ.

Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this proposal to other government agencies including PCPG, if the proponent becomes the successful services provider.

If the successful proponent agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the successful proponent for the purchase of services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the proponent. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies.

Please note: copies of the proponents submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.

All in accordance with the requirements stated in the RFQ document to be downloaded.
