Quotations are invited – for the maintenance of McAfee VirusScan Endpoint Protection Suite, and the Acquisition of New Licenses.
Submissions shall only be accepted electronically via the MERX Portal and as per MERX electronic clock no later than March 28, 2018 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Submissions submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified.
TERM
The term of this Contract is for a one (1) year period commencing April 19, 2018.
The TPS reserves the right during this period to add additional licenses with the affiliated maintenance, based on the Bidder’s pricing submission. The maintenance of the new purchases during this period is to co-terminate with the end of the agreement.
TPS reserves the right to renew for an additional two (2) one-year periods based on the same terms and conditions, including pricing. This renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and Board approval if applicable.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations within the City of Toronto and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this Bid to other government agencies, if the Bidder becomes the Contractor. The Contractor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Contractor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Contractor. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Contractors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
