Request for Quote
The Toronto Police Services is requesting bidders for Financial Forensic Accounting Services as indicated in the RFQ document.

Submission Requirements
Proposals must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System (https://www.merx.com/).

Proponents are to submit their proposal through the MERX EBS System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Thursday April 21,2022

MANDATORY SKILLS

The successful candidate(s) Must be a Certified Professional Accountant - CA with excellent interpersonal skills and possess a strong interest in investigative and forensic accounting.
The candidate(s) Must be computer literate in relation to current computer business
applications.
The successful candidate(s) Must also have support staff within his/her home firm to be in the position to review and sign off on the work completed.

Senior manager(s) Must be required to be certified in Financial Forensics for Evidence and Court Purposes by the American Institute of Certified Professional Accountants, (AICPA).

Term of the Contract
The term of this contract is for one (1) year with the option to extend for three (3) one (1) year periods.
Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPSB/TPS may, upon request, permit other public bodies and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any part of the contract which may result from this RFP.

Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this proposal to other government agencies including PCPG, if the proponent becomes the successful services provider.

If the successful proponent agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the successful proponent for the purchase of services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the proponent. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies.

Please note: copies of the proponents submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.

All in accordance with the requirements stated in the RFQ document to be downloaded.
