The Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) is seeking a third-party service to provide a complete and seamless online event management platform that will help streamline the 2019 Annual Scientific Assembly (ASA) to be held November 28th-30th, 2019 at Beanfield Centre Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ont.
The OCFP is proud to host the “Premier Family Medicine Conference” in Ontario. As the OCFP’s showcase event, the ASA provides professional development through certified sessions and workshops while bringing together the Ontario community of family physicians, residents, medical students, and integrated healthcare professionals. In 2019 the ASA plans to welcome 1,000+ delegates.
The ASA is a 3-day conference, offering delegates over 100 educational sessions and workshops to participate in. This comprehensive program is delivered by 100+ speakers, and as such, there are numerous hours dedicated to speaker coordination and program planning. The ASA Exhibit Hall complements the clinical and educational activities of the scientific program sessions by enabling delegates to network and evaluate the latest resources and developments relevant to family medicine.
The objective is to provide a long-term platform that is cost effective, efficient, user-friendly, and a one stop solution to benefit OCFP Conference Planning Staff, the ASA Planning Committee, speakers, delegates, and exhibitors, and sponsors. This upgrade in event management will provide one source to streamline the key processes of the conference, and create a modern user experience for speakers, delegates, exhibitors, and sponsors.
The online event management solutions that are required include, call for abstracts and E-posters platform, speaker and program management, exhibitor and sponsorship management, interactive exhibitor floor plan, exhibitor and sponsorship registration including integration of payment processing with PayPal in Canadian (CDN) dollars, microsite, mobile app, integration of mobile app with delegate conference registration platform, delegate scheduling, online evaluations and certificate of attendance.
