DescriptionA - Previous Amendment

TSSA has undertaken a business transformation program where a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) is being implemented. The data conversion stream of this project will only take open and active legacy data (from Oracle eBusiness suite) and migrate to the new ERP system. Users require access to the legacy historical data after the Oracle system is decommissioned. In addition, it has been decided that the new ERP system will be rolled out in phases. During these rollouts, transactional data will also be generated in both systems for a couple of years. There is a need to consolidate data from both systems to provide a single view to the users.

TSSA primary objectives in outsourcing this function are as follows:

Capitalizing on the external provider’s experience in delivering data and BI solutions
Having access to external provider’s methodology and personnel for rapid ‘time to market’
Utilizing vendor’s local presence to ensure knowledge transfer and continued support
Optimizing investment

Data Quality Requirements:
TSSA expects the data quality improvements will be made to the data during the development of reporting solution. For example, customer and inventory de-duplication, address cleansing, matching between CRM and Oracle. The expectation is to refine and validate a list of certain data quality rules, previously documented by the internal data team.
