Tay Valley & Drummond North Elmsley Townships are reconstructing Otty Lake Side Road from Scotch Line (County Road 10) to Kenyon Road (+/-4.3 km southeast of Scotch Line) inclusive of the intersection at Scotch Line, Wild Life Road, and Mary Miller Road. In addition, the Townships are reconstructing Mary Miller Road from Otty Lake Side Road to +/-70m east of the intersection with Otty Lake Side Road. The project includes pulverizing of existing road surface with sections of full reconstruction including supply/placement of granular base and subbase, and hot mix asphalt. This project also includes culvert replacements, grading, ditch cleanout and ditch excavation, as well as residential driveway and landscaping reinstatement.
The estimated major quantities are: Earth Excavation – 8,200 m3 Pulverize (150mm depth) – 21,000 m2 Installation of Road Crossing Culverts – 210 m Granular ‘A’ – 18,000 t Granular ‘B’ – 12,000 t Hot Mix Asphalt – 4,600 t
