Description

TThe St. Lawrence College storm sewers were constructed originally, in some cases, as combined storm and sanitary sewers. There are some sections where the sewers need to be separated, and other areas where remedial and repair work is required. Also discovered during a condition assessment carried out by a local consulting firm in 2016, were sections of sewers that are blocked with sediment. While no environmental issues have been incurred from this common construction arrangement, St. Lawrence College is proactively remedying this situation to eliminate any such future risks.
