St. Lawrence College is looking to secure a purchase from a supplier specializing in higher education assessment to provide an academic early alert solution.
With three friendly campuses in Brockville, Cornwall, and Kingston, St. Lawrence College is an integral part of the economic life and social fabric of Eastern Ontario with a close-knit community of 8,000 full-time students, and more than 85,000 proud alumni. Hundreds are also enrolled in our online and continuing education courses each year. As part of our ongoing sustainability initiatives, the College boasts more than 1,600 rooftop solar modules on our Kingston and Brockville campuses, the largest solar roof-top installation of any post-secondary institution in Canada. The college has many Applied Research projects in progress, as well, our Corporate Learning and Performance Improvement group has helped more than 350 organizations grow and prosper. Through our Employment Service offices, we work with thousands of clients annually.
The College is looking to secure an academic early alert system that will allow for the identification of students who are at academic risk. Identification of at-risk students will enable the college to target academic interventions very early in students’ academic careers thereby improving their potential for academic success and increasing retention rates at the College overall.
The supplier must be a company that focuses on higher education solutions and that utilizes sound qualitative and quantitative research that demonstrates the effectiveness of their solutions.The supplier must have a proven track record of delivering an early alert solution with Canadian higher education institutions; they must also have a proven track record in supporting institutions through implementation and solution delivery while maintaining positive business relationships that extend through the on-going support of their product(s).
