REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI): STRATEGIC PLANNING SERVICES –
GATEWAY COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE (GATEWAY)
Gateway Board of Directors invites qualified consultants to submit an Expression of Interest for strategic planning services to assist in the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for our community health centre.
Gateway is a government funded not for profit organization located in Tweed and is one of 74 community health centres in Ontario. Gateway offers primary care, allied care, dental care and a range of community programs through a lens of health equity with particular attention on the social determinants of health.  Gateway has an annual budget of 5.9M, employs 44 staff and is the transfer payment agency and co lead for the Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team.
The Board of Directors have set a budget of $20,000 to $25,000 for the project.
Scope of Work: The consultant will work closely with our Board of Directors and key stakeholders to:

1. Conduct a review of the current mission, vision and values statements.
2. Assess the current state of our organization, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis), or different assessments that the consultant feels appropriate.
3. Conduct surveys, and key informant interviews with current stakeholders to gather their input.
4. Facilitate strategic planning sessions with board members, staff, and other stakeholders to define the organization’s goals, and objectives.
5. Develop a strategic plan that helps outline clear strategies, action plans, timelines, and performance metrics to achieve our strategic goals.
6. Provide guidance and support in communicating the strategic plan to internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment.
7. Offer expertise and best practices in strategic planning to ensure the plan is practical, actionable, and sustainable.
8. Execute completion by spring 2025.

2. Proposed approach and methodology for conducting the strategic planning process, including timelines and deliverables.
3. Profiles of key consultants who will be involved in the project, highlighting their qualifications and experience.
4. Budget, including all fees and expenses associated with the project.
5. References from past clients who can speak to the consultant’s ability to deliver high-quality strategic planning services.
