Description

The IESO is responsible for the planning and operation of the IESO-controlled grid and of the IESO-administered markets. As part of its mandate, the IESO performs power system studies associated with: planning of future upgrades and expansions to the Ontario power system, assessment of new or modified connections, maintenance and derivation of power system limits, performance validation and modelling of new or modified equipment and facilities, planning of outages to transmission system equipment and real-time operations of the IESO-controlled grid and IESO-administered markets.
To ensure the IESO is able to meet the demand of this critical work, the IESO is seeking to establish a list of qualified Vendors of Record to supplement and support its internal workforce, as further detailed in Section 2 below.

Proponents to follow the submission instructions in the RVOR. This Envelope should contain the Technical Proposal and any Appendices, not including their pricing submission.

Proponents are encouraged to submit responses that conform to the section headings provided in Section 3 of Appendix B of the RFP documents. Technical submissions include the content requested under Appendix B along with a completed copy of Appendix A (Registration Form) and any requested modifications to the terms and conditions presented in Appendix D (Terms and Conditions).
