The Foundation is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to conduct a feasibility study for establishing a Native Seed Social Enterprise (SE). This project aligns with the Foundation’s mandate to promote biodiversity, support the restoration of native habitats, and develop economically sustainable solutions for ecological restoration through the sale of native plant seeds. This SE initiative aims to supply native seeds for restoration projects across Canada, particularly in prairie regions where there is a significant need for biodiversity-supportive vegetation.
